Some people work to cure cancer, others are fighting the war on poverty. Me? My selfless act is to help people spend money on stuff they need, like clothes and bags and makeup and, of course, killer shoes. But, that's not all. I like to eat. And complain (most specifically about how hard it is to be a mom). Oh, and obsess over the next perfect pair of shoes.

Great Ganga Week — Take 3
Anyone over 12 might find this shocking: Today's great buy comes from Wet Seal.
Yes, Wet Seal. And, if I hadn't seen this very roll-sleeve jacket ($21.50) in the latest People Stylewatch, ain't no way I would have been trolling that site.
But, the lightweight, safari-esque jacket seemed like the perfect neutral, throw-on coverup for cold offices and malls. Plus, it's dressier than a hoodie.
I opted for a medium since I have shoulders that would make a linebacker envious. Fits just fine and I can even raise my arms.
Outfit: Wet Seal roll-sleeve jacket; J. Crew serengeti tank; cut-offs of my own design; Stuart Weitzman "Phoenix" sandals.

I am so thrilled with how this turned out. I had my doubts about Wet Seal. That thing is great. Very nice.
Memories! I worked at the Wet Seal in Tucson Mall one holiday season. That was a million years ago, when I was an undergrad. I had no idea the store was still around.
