Yay — Madewell, J Crew's sister line, is going to be available online early next month.
This is great news. You can find a small collection now at Shopbop.com and at J Crew's online site, but I can't wait to get my hands on the whole collection. Here's to hoping the shipping charges won't be as exorbitant as the Mother Ship's.

Ooh, can you believe I've never shopped at Madewell before? Do you have any idea what their sizing is like - true to JC's or smaller?

l- i don't know about the sizing! i would imagine it's like crack's, but who knows? now that crew added an xxs and went all wonky with sizing, i have a hard time with its clothing. here's to hoping there's free ship and free returns!
Interesting, I didn't know they were going to take Madewell online. I thought I read something in a business magazine a while back where Mickey said he wasn't going to. It does seem to have better pricing than J. Crew from what I've seen.
How exciting! I'm with you, the shipping charges better be more affordable otherwise I'm going to forgo purchases at Madewell.
