This Patterson J. Kincaid dress arrived this week.
I had been coveting it because I loved the idea of the sheer with the lining and just the easy, overall shape of the dress. I apparently wasn't alone — it sold out on Shopbop.com lickety-split. I didn't even realize it was the daintiest cheetah print until I pulled it out of the bag. Nice surprise.
It looks really cute, so I guess I can forgive that it took me 20 minutes to put on a pull-on dress. Seriously. The lining is attached to the shell, and it was all quite a complicated tangle. I was afraid I'd have to call 911, and I so did not have the appropriate undies (well, or ass) for that.
And just look at this great outfit from my beloved Swayandcake.com. Everything about this look is perfect — it's edgy; the long trench dress is a fun twist on the military look, and those boots, which speak to my inner construction worker, are too cool. I'm quite smitten with this creative ensemble.
