Hello, 70s!

Not referring to the outfit, although I could be, but the weather. 70s! Yay! This is a time for rejoicing in the desert. It's funny how people just seem happier, even a little giddy, when the thermometer dips.

Of course, this isn't fall just yet. Oh no, we'll get hit with at least one or two more heat waves. But for now, I'm going to revel in the fact that I was able to pull out this Line "Elizabeth" blanket cardi and wear it for reals after snagging it back in June.

I'm feeling pretty smug right now because Southwestern-inspired jacket/sweaters seem to be everywhere right now. And I bought mine way back when — and for only $44. Regular price was $200.

The rest of the outfit: C&C California v-neck (the best tees ever because the sleeves are extra long. I love to pull 'em over my hands); Forever XXI boot necklace; Fins denim flared jeans (RIP, Fins. A killer jean maker that went away. Luckily I've been able to score about a half dozen pairs — that's how much I love 'em — on eBay); Lucky clogs.

Native phoenicians know exactly when fall starts: the beginning of November, haha.

Don't you love when you score a key item for uber cheap?! Fab sweater! I just want to curl up in it and read and drink hot cocoa!
