Do you think designers buy that line about imitation being the most sincere form of flattery?
My 10-year-old sure doesn't. She hates it when she draws something she thinks is phenomenally cool and then her brother and sister follow. I'm guessing most designers feels the same way about Forever XXI and its uncanny ability to knockoff just about anything pretty well.
Today's case-in-point: the tulip skirt (product number: 2000001789), which is eerily similar to the bottom half of this Alexander Wang dress. The dress'll run ya $465; the skirt $19.80.
C'mon, Forever XXI, you know you want to knock off AW's apron shorts! Do IT! Do IT!

F21 has been sued more than once because their knock offs bore too close a resemblance to the original. This one is pretty darned close.
