Some people work to cure cancer, others are fighting the war on poverty. Me? My selfless act is to help people spend money on stuff they need, like clothes and bags and makeup and, of course, killer shoes. But, that's not all. I like to eat. And complain (most specifically about how hard it is to be a mom). Oh, and obsess over the next perfect pair of shoes.

Not So Wild, but Wooly
Hey, look! I'm a yeti!
Who knew the abominable beasts could be so stylish?
Last fall/winter and even into spring, several light coats and jackets made it into the closet. Makes sense — this is the desert. It's usually pretty freakin' warm. Winter is balmy here (evidence: temps in the 70s this week). But in recent mornings and in the evenings, stuck on the soccer field sidelines, I found myself wishing for something warmer and heavier. This fits the bill. Plus, it was on super-duper-luper sale.
Outfit: Unif shearling coat (since sold out on Karmaloop.com); the one non-hoochie, loose tank in the Victoria's Secret catalog last spring; J Crew "Minnie" pants; Marimekko sneakers.
